   A finely detailed nature painting, featuring a Common Loon on a beaver pond in Northern Ontario. Autumn colours radiate in the background as the beaver prepares his beaver lodge for the cold winter ahead. The Common Loon keeps watch on the beaver in the foreground of this wildlife painting.  Beavers and Common Loons live at peace with each other on lakes and ponds, seldomly paying any attention to each other unless one wanders too close to the other for comfort.
